Advanced APICS for Instructors program
The APICS Learning Dynamics for Instructors (LDI) course is the second module of the programme designed by APICS to develop the skills of instructors.
The course is designed for trainers, not necessarily APICS trainers or Supply Chain Management experts, but for all those who, as part of their professions, are often called upon to speak in public and to communicate with groups of adults. Participants are involved in two days of intensive activities in experiencing firsthand the difference between a traditional classroom teaching session and advanced training for professionals.
The instructor, an APICS Master Instructor of Training expert in this discipline, will guide participants on a highly interactive and engaging journey based on years of experience in the professional growth of APICS instructors from all continents in sessions across Europe, the US and North Africa.
On completion of the course you will receive an internationally recognized certificate of participation issued directly by JPS, as APICS Premier Channel Partner. With this certificate, and other related requirements, you can qualify for the title of APICS Lead Instructor in the your discipline according to the standards of the APICS Instructor Development Program.
While the basic APICS Train The Trainer (TTT) course aims to build the foundations for transforming any lesson into a real training experience, APICS LDI examines the more technical aspects of Adult Learning including themes such as:
- different learning styles
- active listening and questioning techniques
- retaining and recalling information
- different levels of comprehension, the design of sessions that are coherent with learning objectives
- the functioning of the brain in learning dynamics
- the management of conflict situations in the classroom
